For Real...
The Hunt is taking place Feb 14 - Mar 13 as part of the 2011 Adelaide Fringe Festival. It is a ticketed event, where you form a team of 1 to 6 players, compete online and in person for a mysterious treasure and real-gold prizes.

Aardfard's Treasure Hunt - The Myth
The Story So Far...
J.J. Aardfard began The Hunt in 2005 simultaneously in 13 countries. Five years and seventy-three destinations later and there are only six Hunters who arrive at the final destination. But they will not be alone; as with every other stage of the journey, Newbies are welcomed to sign up and pit their wits against each other to win the treasure.
